About the Ride

The Details: The Hartford Breast Cancer Ride presented by RE/MAX Results, in its third year, benefits Open Arms of Minnesota and Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Minnesota Affiliate, will take place August 7-8, 2010. This two-day fundraising Ride will start and stop at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. A safe and beautiful southern route has been selected to take Riders down to our overnight campsite, Treasure Island Resort and Casino.
The Cause: The money raised from The Hartford Breast Cancer Ride presented by RE/MAX Results will benefit Open Arms of Minnesota and Susan G. Komen For The Cure® Minnesota Affiliate. To learn more about these two wonderful beneficiaries, please click here.
The Overnight Stay: Riders and Crew have the choice to camp in their tents (we'll transport your tent and gear for you) or to book a room at Treasure Island at their own expense. Treasure Island recently added a beautiful new section of their hotel which has a private, non-smoking entrance. Reserve your room today by calling 888-867-STAY (7829). Meals and Showers: The Hartford Breast Cancer Ride presented by RE/MAX Results is fully supported and provides Riders and Crew members with all the necessary amenities and much more. Lunch, dinner, and snacks are provided on Day One (Saturday) and breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided on Day Two (Sunday). Pit Stops will be available approximately every 10-15 miles to offer rest, water, sports drink, snacks, and fun! Showers are available for those who choose to tent.
Bike Support: Bike Tech support (thanks Erik's Bike Shop!) will be available as well as support vehicles (also known as sweep vehicles), safety Crews, moto Crews and much more to make your experience a safe one.

Where do I park my car?: Free, overnight parking is available at the Mall of America. The Weekend of Event Guide will have all the information. You can read that information here.
Gear Transport: Each participant is allowed two pieces of gear (luggage). This will allow one for clothes and the other for tenting gear (if you are not purchasing a hotel room). Our wonderful volunteer Crew will transport your overnight gear from the start location down to Treasure Island and have it waiting for you. On Sunday morning, please bring your gear back to the gear truck which will then be brought to the finish location.
